Mirasierra

The rear dining room looks out over the Parque Natural de Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia, which is reason enough to ask for a table there. This old-school restaurant in the medieval village of Mogarraz has been around forever, its stone facade blending into the surroundings as if it never considered doing otherwise. The kitchen runs traditional Spanish, stews and roasted meats doing the heavy lifting, with a tasting menu if you'd rather leave the decisions to someone else.
