    The restaurant inside a boutique hotel that a fashion designer built from a former doctor's surgery, which is very Cotswolds when you think about it. The room pulls off a modern Nordic calm amid the honey-stone village scenery, and the Modern British cooking follows the same logic, dishes that read quietly on the menu but arrive with more going on beneath the surface than the description suggests.
