The bar here feels less like a hotel lounge and more like a private club, all low leather chairs and firelight, which sets the tone for this boutique hotel on Monbijouplatz with direct views of the Berliner Dom. Rooms lean Scandinavian rather than Berlin-edgy, with warm wood floors and plush furniture. The restaurant does small plates in a space styled after a Twenties bistro, and barely a chair in the place wasn't designed to be sunk into for an unreasonable amount of time.
