The resort is built to resemble a peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean, which is either audacious or on-brand for Monaco, probably both. Pierre-Yves Rochon designed the interiors to be unabashedly glitzy without quite tipping into excess, and the public spaces have the palatial scale that this address demands. Rooms are comparatively restrained. The lagoon pool has a sandy floor, the spa is vast, and a private helipad handles guests who prefer not to sit in traffic.
