The dining room sits inside what feels like a grown-up conservatory, glass walls thrown open to the orchard and garden in summer. This is a Michelin-starred modern regional restaurant in the Carinthian countryside, running five or seven courses of pared-back, contrast-driven cooking built around local ingredients. The sauces in particular tend to do the quiet, interesting work. A couple who know the room well run the front and back of house between them.
