Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton

A resort on Lake Balaton's southern shore where the design brief was apparently "Jules Verne by way of the Caribbean," resulting in colonial-tropical architecture outside and Around the World in 80 Days interiors within. There's an on-site theme park, suites built for families with small and restless members, and a rooftop spa with lake views for whoever earned a quiet hour. Few resorts in the area try this hard to keep everyone busy at once.
