    Getting to Naar involves mountain roads steep enough to make you question your choices, but that's the point. Chef Prateek Sadhu, who came up through Alinea and Le Bernardin before co-founding Masque in Mumbai, built this Himalayan tasting menu restaurant around the idea that Kashmir and its neighbors constitute a culinary world most people have never visited. Ingredients are hyperlocal, the six-season calendar shapes the menu, and the views do the rest. It holds a spot on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list.
