The last Maharaja of Bikaner left no heir, and his Art Deco palace sat at the end of a lineage with nowhere to go, so someone turned it into a hotel. Portuguese tiles meet English antiques meet locally crafted terrazzo floors, and rooms come with vintage bar carts and rare art objects as standard. A rooftop infinity pool looks over the old city. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
