Grass roofs, volcanic stone, and handmade clay soaking tubs: this luxury resort on Easter Island is built to look like it grew here rather than arrived. Low-slung buildings cluster like a village, and private terraces face the ocean. The island's largest pool is a geometric statement. Staff arrange moai and archaeological site visits, but the harbor is a short walk, and coming back here after a long day on Rapa Nui is a reasonable argument for the whole trip.
