Local stone and wood hold the building together, the way the Cycladic wind holds everything else apart. Nōstos is a small design hotel on Serifos, a quieter island that hasn't quite been discovered yet, where whitewashed Chora sits above and Livadakia Beach sits minutes below. Every suite looks out over the Aegean, thyme drifts through the courtyard, and the whole thing feels less like a resort than a well-considered argument for doing nothing at all.
