Numazu Club

A restored 1907 teahouse sits at the heart of this ryokan, its sukiya-style architecture so quietly composed that the newer wing simply adopted the same wood-and-clay vocabulary rather than argue with it. Hinoki soaking tubs face floor-to-ceiling garden views, tatami and sliding panels do the decorating, and the Fuji-fed springs suggest you have nowhere urgent to be.
