Octant Praia Verde

A steel, bracket-shaped structure rising out of a dense pine forest is not the usual Algarve resort pitch, but here we are. The lobby runs market-hall casual, the restaurant does wood-fired pizzas and local produce, and a forest path connects the whole thing to the beach. Families are well looked after, with a kids' club and kitchenette suites. Higher floors earn their keep with sea views over the treetops.
