The motto is "Sunday cooking. Every day," which tells you most of what you need to know about this country restaurant on a Trakehner stud farm estate. Seasonal regional plates come out in a cosy, rustic room or, in summer, on a terrace with horses grazing somewhere in the background. A café in the old night watchman's lodge handles coffee and cake in the afternoons, and Sunday brunch runs by reservation.
