Giancarlo Perbellini, the chef behind one of Verona's grand tasting-menu temples, runs this osteria as a kind of antidote to his own reputation. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the point is exactly that: seasonal Italian classics, a good run of wines by the glass, and prices that don't require a second mortgage. A terrace tucked down a side street off Via Mazzini makes it easy to linger longer than planned.
