Every suite at this sixteen-room ryokan comes with its own private open-air hot spring bath, which tells you what the priorities are here. Oyado The Earth sits inside Ise Shima national park on the Pacific coast, wrapped in old-growth forest with Toba Bay in the middle distance. Common areas are tatami-traditional; bedrooms go hotel-style for comfort. Multi-course kaiseki rounds out the evenings. It holds a Michelin Key, and guests must be at least 14.
