    A palm tree grows straight through the roof of the open-sided bar, which happens to be a repurposed shipping container with swing chairs and ceiling fans. That's the vibe at this boutique jungle resort on Sri Lanka's south coast: a pastel-pink pool wall cribbing from Ricardo Bofill, a resident peacock, A-frame cabanas, and a kitchen good enough that non-guests make the drive just to eat.
