    Rooms start on the upper floors of one of the tallest buildings in the country, so the views from this sleek business hotel are less "city view" and more "weather system." Pan Pacific Jakarta sits inside the Thamrin Nine complex, with 158 pared-back rooms done in white walls, warm wood, and soft blue accents. The 90th floor holds a Japanese restaurant and a botanical cocktail bar that makes ordering a drink feel like a minor achievement.
