Three A-frame cabins cling to the outermost crags of Karmøy, each angled to pull in 180 degrees of North Sea. Floor-to-ceiling glass at the front, roof glazing above, wood-burning stove below, loft bed somewhere overhead. Cabin Helga is step-free and nearly drive-to-the-door; Håkon surveys Hemnessanden beach to the north; Hagbart faces south toward Utsira. Skudeneshavn's white harbor is eight minutes away, which matters less once a storm rolls in and the sea starts foaming against the rocks.
