Fourteen suites, each wearing a single bold accent color against otherwise blond-on-white minimalist interiors, make up this small, calm hotel in Trier's historic center. It's the work of a chef who opened a restaurant here first, then added rooms, which gives the place an unusually personal feel. The Moselle winds nearby, and the surrounding valley is deep in vineyard country, so there's always a reason to wander.
