The Primus is a full-service resort hotel in Jiaxing's quieter Nanhu District, beside Xiangjia Lake and well away from the city's more historically loaded addresses. An indoor pool, spa, and kids' club give it a genuine resort spread. Shanghai Hongqiao is about 80 kilometers west, making this a plausible escape from that particular city.
