One of only two surviving caravanserais in Tbilisi, this red-brick hotel with its Moorish facade sits in the old city, which means the history is doing a lot of the decorating. Inside, the restoration goes industrial-chic: a courtyard lobby with keyhole arches, dramatic lighting, and moody corridors leading to modern rooms with leather headboards and, in some cases, freestanding tubs and wraparound balconies. The restaurant has live music every night.
