Perched at 1,550 meters on the Rigi, this Michelin-starred creative Swiss restaurant is genuinely easier to reach by mountain railway than by road, which sets the tone nicely. The kitchen grows over 400 herbs on site and uses mostly organic Swiss produce, turning them into technically confident, idea-driven dishes that avoid the kind of theatrical flourish altitude sometimes inspires. The alcohol-free pairings, house-made lemonades among them, are worth the detour on their own.
