Remota Patagonia Lodge

The roof is the hillside, grass and all, re-laid over low-slung wood-and-slate buildings designed by Chilean green architect Germán del Sol to disappear into the Patagonian landscape rather than announce themselves. Inside, the eco-lodge gives way to something considerably softer: unfinished wood, organic curves, a sauna, an infinity pool, and a restaurant pulling from local farms and the cold channels nearby. The views are better earned on foot, and guided excursions of every intensity are on offer.
