    A contemporary French restaurant tucked into the old city center of Zutphen, Nectar serves medium-sized plates that work equally well à la carte or strung together as a tasting menu. The chef's cooking borrows from wherever it likes, landing tandoori spices in a beurre blanc and XO glaze on monkfish without making a fuss about either. The room is warm and the portions are generous enough that no one leaves doing the math.
