Trout shows up in several forms on the menu, which tells you where you are before the view from the window does. This is the intimate restaurant of a boutique hotel in the Julian Alps, close enough to Lake Bohinj that the kitchen treats the surrounding valleys as a pantry. The chef, a local, runs a modern regional menu built on that produce, and the wine list leans Slovenian by a wide margin. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
