  1. A fourth-generation family restaurant in Gelderland that now holds a Michelin star, Rijnzicht is a sleek fine-dining room where the team's French technique bends toward playful invention. Local trout and Betuwe cherries meet global seasonings on dishes that are as arresting to look at as they are to eat. The set menu rotates every few months, and the whole thing ends with you toasting a marshmallow over a small charcoal fire at the table, which somehow feels exactly right.

    Two honors, in evidence:

    The record strongest first

One number, weighted & current 90

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
