    A boutique hotel in a UNESCO-listed city that somehow looks like it was transplanted from Brooklyn, clay bricks, exposed ductwork, and all. The rooms run larger than the local norm, dressed in a monochrome palette with bold wall murals and subway-tiled bathrooms. Downstairs, an all-day café pulls espresso and rotates through comfort food from wherever. Jonker Walk's night market is a short drive, and the historic monuments are closer still.
