Fifty-five private villas strung along a crescent of white sand on Miyako-jima's remote northwest coast, each with its own pool and a Ryukyu stone bath. This is Rosewood's first Japanese property, and the design takes its cues from the Ryukyu archipelago: pale woods, soft textiles, salt air, and a silence that feels deliberately engineered. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys. Pack light and plan to do very little, efficiently.
