    A terrace opening onto a medieval square sets the scene at this Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in the old village of Kornelimünster. The chef runs two versions of a multi-course tasting menu each evening, one vegetarian, one meat and fish, with classically French technique given a quietly modern edge. The sauces alone attract serious attention. German wines only, which is a position, and the front-of-house team holds it with warmth.
