    A red-brick terraced house in Brasschaat with a quietly lovely patio out back, Sardis is an Italian restaurant where the cooking stays faithful to the classics while quietly nudging them forward. The kitchen handles pasta and tiramisu the way a good Italian household would, then adds a layer of precision that a good Italian household probably wouldn't. The room is cosy, the artwork is decidedly sensual, and the welcome is genuinely warm.
