A neo-Gothic building that once housed a telephone exchange now operates as a boutique hotel in the 7th arrondissement, which tells you something about the neighborhood's ambitions. The lobby has been replaced by a mirror-lined cocktail lounge that doubles as an art installation, zebra-striped marble runs through the interiors, and an outdoor heated pool sits in the tucked-away garden. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
