    The family who built this resort also owns the vineyard next door, which tells you something about how seriously they take the surroundings. Cantilevered and contemporary, the resort sits amid eastern Austria's flat lake-and-windmill landscape, and every room has a balcony pointed straight at it. Low-slung furniture, pendant lighting, and trails through the estate round things out. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Key.
