Two lodges on stilts at the foot of the Pic de Vissou, both cantilevered over forested hills so they seem to float. It's a boutique stay down a quiet country road outside Cabrières, about an hour from Montpellier, and the two-lodge format means you're essentially booking a private hillside to yourself. Blonde wood interiors, a Jacuzzi terrace, open-air kitchen, and a natural infinity pool. Breakfast arrives in a basket each morning. Dinner can be arranged, if you ask nicely.
