Eight small hotels, not one, threaded through the lanes of Doha's old open-air market, where spice vendors and textile sellers operate just outside the door. Each property has its own name and character, all done in traditional Arabian architecture with rooms dressed in Qatari patterns and craftsmanship. Restaurants, a pool, and a spa are scattered across the cluster, close enough to reach on foot or by golf cart if you're feeling grand.
