Every room faces the Baltic, a design decision someone made a very long time ago that no subsequent renovation has dared to undo. Stammershalle Badehotel is an old-school Danish seaside hotel, cozy and Nordic in character without tipping into the minimalist cliché. The 36 rooms keep their original bones and proportions, the restaurant pulls from French, German, and Asian traditions, and a new spa with a heated saltwater pool rounds things out nicely.
