A 1930s façade on a smart Östermalm corner hides what is essentially a boutique hotel built on the premise that Scandinavian design doesn't have to be earnest. Street art, reclaimed vintage furniture, and subway-tile bathrooms replace the pale wood and quiet restraint you might expect. A DJ runs the bar on weekends, and the pan-Asian menu draws a crowd that comes for the cocktails and stays for the scene.
