A chef-driven restaurant in a small Zeeland village where the Eastern Scheldt does most of the heavy lifting: lobster and local lamb carry the menu, while the kitchen finds ways to make an oyster taste like a raspberry without losing the plot. The room runs to warm colors and considered design, the terrace is inviting when the weather cooperates, and the welcome is warm enough that the drive out here starts to feel entirely reasonable.
