This Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant in Essen runs on the biography of its chef, a German-Bolivian who folds both halves into a five- or seven-course set menu. The room is cosy and modern, hung with photographs from Bolivia. Bolivian wines on the list are labeled by altitude, a quietly nerdy touch that earns its place.
