A family-run restaurant in the upper Valais where the chef hunts the game that ends up on your plate, which gives the seasonal menu a certain credibility you can't fake. The dining room does contemporary Alpine without the usual kitsch. Evenings offer two set menus, one vegetarian, or à la carte; lunch keeps things simpler. The wine list leans into Valais producers, and there are rooms upstairs if the mountain air gets to you.
