    A balé is a traditional Balinese pavilion, and this resort's twenty-six of them read more Milan than village, with sharp lines, dark wood, and Zen furnishings. Each comes walled for privacy, with a private pool, an open-air daybed veranda, and outdoor bath. The kind of place where the butler is theoretically an option, and 24-hour room service makes the remoteness feel rather civilized.
