The Barbary
North African Middle Eastern
A 24-seat counter wrapping around a robata grill and a tandoor oven, tucked into Neal's Yard so discreetly that finding it feels like a reward in itself. The Barbary is a snug, smoke-forward counter restaurant pulling from the old Barbary Coast: harissa, dukkah, and zhoug turn up alongside charred octopus and cauliflower. It holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the knafeh is a good reason not to rush out.
