    Marlon Brando discovered this private atoll while filming "Mutiny on the Bounty" and reportedly secured the lease partly with a homemade apple pie, which is a negotiating tactic worth studying. The Brando is a carbon-neutral luxury resort on Tetiaroa, a short flight from Tahiti, with 35 private villas, each with its own pool and beach. Breakfast honey comes from a nearby motu. It holds a Forbes Five Star and three Michelin Keys.
