Kerry Hill designed this resort, and the man never met a coastline he couldn't make look cinematic. Sitting just across the bay from Qingdao, the Lalu is a monumental high-luxury property where an Ocean View Suite is the entry-level option, and the Cliff Villa is presumably where you stay when you've run out of ways to spend money. Six restaurants, a full-service spa, and a Japanese onsen round things out for anyone who finds a pool insufficiently theatrical.
