A renovated old inn on the prettiest village on East Lothian's Golf Coast, The Leddie does the mossy greens and wool throws thing without laying on the tartan too thick. Rooms upstairs are calm and unfussy; downstairs, the bar and restaurant fill with locals and golfers over comfort food and house-brewed lager. It's a short walk to some serious links, which explains a lot about the clientele.
