Kate Pierson of the B-52s once gave this creekside motel its kitschy makeover, and the current owners have since turned it into a boutique inn with rustic-chic rooms, locally roasted coffee, and Apotheke bath products. It sits in Mount Tremper, quietly selected by the Michelin Guide, and draws the kind of guests who pack a Patagonia vest and call it roughing it. The creek is real, at least.
