    Perched on the Serra de Falperra, a hill better known for religious pilgrimage and an annual car race than for weekend getaways, this contemporary nature-focused hotel keeps interiors calm with natural materials and soft neutrals. The Altus Wellness Spa runs to an indoor pool, Turkish bath, ice bath, and sauna. The Wine Bar, despite its name, serves Portuguese tapas and pizza alongside local pours. Braga's historic center is a short drive down.
