The Red Lion
Traditional British
An old-school pub on the Isle of Wight that grows some of its own produce out back, which you'd notice in the cooking before anyone mentioned it. Open fires, friendly service, and a kitchen that runs a proper à la carte alongside lighter lunch options. The beef fat crumpet has become something of a talking point, and the sticky toffee pudding does nothing to discourage lingering. Been around forever, and it shows in the best possible, well, it just feels lived-in.
