    The sandstone-colored facade on Fifth Circle rises in art deco curves that owe more to a Parisian grand hotel than the Jordanian capital around it. That tension is sort of the point: this is a full-service luxury hotel where the carpets are designed to echo shifting desert sands and the deep blues in the rooms nod to the Dead Sea. Marble bathrooms, a spa, a rooftop pool, and a Forbes Four Star round out what is a genuinely complete urban retreat.
