Perched at the corner of Central Park South and Sixth Avenue, this 33-story Ritz-Carlton holds a Forbes Five Star and a Michelin Key, and earns both by feeling considerably smaller and quieter than it has any right to be. The rooms lean into a neutral palette with dark wood molding and plush club chairs, the kind of old-New York-club aesthetic that stops just short of stuffy. Central Park is right there, and somehow the street noise isn't.
