A brass ship's window and a renovated ship's bell hang in the bar of this riverside inn, propping up the local legend that its timbers were salvaged from a sunken 18th-century warship. A careful overhaul uncovered original flagstones and ancient beams, now layered with earthy greens and Welsh Melin Tregwynt textiles. Six Heritage Rooms are named after navigators and river figures, and the kitchen keeps things hyperlocal throughout.
